What are Veterinary Technicians?
In Nevada, a Licensed Veterinary Technician often takes on a wide variety of tasks including drawing blood, placing catheters, assisting in surgery, managing anesthesia, and giving medications. In reality, an LVT’s duties encompass much more. Actually, it’s easier to list what they can’t do: make diagnoses, perform surgery or prescribe medication. We are proud to have a staff of highly qualified Licensed Veterinary Technicians.
