Q: What woman inspires you and why?

A: I would say my sister in law Jennifer. She has gone through so many struggles all her life and still manages to be the most positive person in this world, she is full of positive energy.

Q: What qualities make a great leader?

A: Honesty, integrity, humility, always strives to help people reach and achieve their goals, they must also possess a clear vision.

Q: If you could meet anyone, man or woman, living or dead, who would you want to meet?

A: I would have loved to meet Selena Quintanilla.

Q: Are there any assumptions about women that you would like to change? Why?

A: In Hispanic heritage, its always an assumption that women must stay home and take care of the kids and the home. I would like to change that because that is  not the case, women can and should be able to work and provide for their families just like men do and we must end this antiquated idea.

Q: If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

A:  I would like to learn more about science specifically geoscience, I have always been interested in our planet and would love to know more about it.

Q: What do you believe will be the biggest challenge for the generation of women behind you?

A: I don’t believe there will be any challenges for the next generation as women are showing now that they have a voice and are fighting for their rights, I believe it’s just a matter of time until we are just as equal as men.
