Appointment Preparation Instructions – Preventative Teeth Cleaning and Assessment (PTCA)

We believe in Fear Free care! Lobby-free visits are always available—just call or text us when you arrive, and you’re welcome to enjoy a walk at nearby Anderson Park or relax in our lawn area while you wait; be sure to ask our team about additional Fear-Free options for your pet’s visit.

We kindly ask that pet parents remain on-site during your pet’s PTCA appointment. This service typically lasts up to 30 minutes.

For everyone’s safety, if any pet in your household is experiencing coughing, sneezing, nasal or eye discharge, or lethargy, please do not enter the lobby; instead, call or text 775-853-6900 upon arrival and park on the north side of the lot along the white vinyl fence so our team can come to you.

Please complete the Pre-Appointment Information Form as part of your appointment confirmation, and bring all current medications and supplements or a list/photo with names and dosages; if this is your pet’s first visit, please also bring any prior medical and vaccine records if we do not already have them.

Mountain View Animal Hospital and Holistic Pet Care is proud to include externships and VGAL-enrolled doctors (Veterinary Graduate Awaiting Licensure). These highly qualified doctors undergo rigorous and specialized testing that many recognize as being more difficult than what US veterinary graduates undergo.
