How one pet's journey inspired the vision for providing a top-tier Integrative Approach to veterinary medicine.

When an Integrative Approach Matters Most

The foundation of our Integrative Approach started with an 11-year-old Labrador, Tioga. Suffering from severe arthritis that resulted from her younger adventurous years, she was barely able to climb the stairs. After handfuls of western medications, advanced imaging, and specialty visits, her pain continued. As a last resort, acupuncture, chiropractic, and herbals were tried. At last, Tioga started to regain her quality of life! The emotion of seeing her run again resulted in her mom (Dr. Kalivoda) purchasing Mountain View Animal Hospital and Holistic Pet Care within a year of her first treatment. She then set out on a journey, hand in paw, to educate on Integrative Approaches to pet parents while creating a space where like-minded professionals can join hands. If you look carefully, you may notice Tioga's pictures around the hospital. Her legacy will be forever remembered.
