Appointment Preparation Instructions
Thank you for choosing Mountain View Animal Hospital and Holistic Pet Care, we are honored to care for you and your pet!
For the health and safety of all pets, please take advantage of our Lobby-Free visits and do not enter the lobby area if any pet in your household is experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Coughing
- Sneezing
- Nasal and/or Eye Discharge
- Lethargy
Instead, we request you call or text us at 775-853-6900 to notify our team of your arrival and we will come to you! We also ask that if your pet is experiencing any of these symptoms, please park on the north side of our parking lot along the white vinyl fencing to the left after entering the lot. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for all our valued clients and patients.
- If your pet is having or may possibly have blood work, please remain in your vehicle and call or text us at 775-853-6900 so we may collect an ample urine and/or fecal sample if needed.
- If possible, please bring all medications and supplements including dosages your pet is currently taking or bring a list medications/supplements with dosages you are currently giving your pet, or, alternatively, you may take a photo of the packaging showing the name of the product and dosage.
- If this is your pet’s first visit with us, please bring all existing medical records including vaccine records, medical results, etc. This includes paperwork from breeders or previous owners. This helps your doctor create the most accurate health plan for your pet moving forward.
- If you prefer, please enjoy our Lobby-Free visits by calling or texting us at 775-853-6900 when you arrive. If you do enter the lobby, please talk to our staff about Fear-Free options for your pet.
Mountain View Animal Hospital and Holistic Pet Care is proud to provide a diverse and inclusive group of doctors that have a variety of specialties and interests. Dr. Malak, Dr. Hanrahan, Dr. Younes, and even our own Medical Director, Dr. Mendoza have come from abroad, bringing their strengths and knowledge to our community. The Nevada State Veterinary Medical Board has accepted these doctors into the prestigious VGAL program. These doctors are already licensed in other countries and are in the process of finalizing their Nevada and U.S. certificates.
